I’m now offering pottery lessons here at the studio. With 45 years working with clay, I look forward to passing on some of my experience with this simplest of material.

As you see I make quite simple pots for use, always in red earthenware with coloured slips and one clear glaze. I throw, use slab moulds and some hand-building.

So I offer the chance to learn and practice techniques, and also attitude. I still remember my first lesson in glazing (circa 1978). It was surprisingly profound!
